Disability Consultant
Authentic disability representation, from script to screen
With over 30 years in television and my own lived experience as a disabled creative, I help productions tell authentic stories with confidence, and avoid the pitfalls of tokenism or stereotype.
Work with me and your team won’t just “get it right” — they’ll feel confident, supported, and free to focus on telling the best story possible.
How I Can Help
- Script consultancy: Be part of your writing team to help you develop scripts and storylines that include disabled characters
- Casting: helping find on- and off-screen disabled talent
- Production: attending tech recces, production meetings, H&S meetings, advising on access
- On-set support: working with directors, ADs and cast to get the best performances
- Training: myth-busting, answering the “can we ask that?” questions, and challenging the status quo
