Thirteen years later I started working at the BBC. Not in television, but in their IT department. But it was a start

With half my degree being in maths I finally got the job I wanted and moved to BBC Schools television making maths programmes

I left the BBC to go freelance and directed everything from Poker Programmes to Teletubbies.

Purpose

To create authentic stories to help people who make a difference, make an even bigger difference. If you want to change people's actions you need to touch their emotions. Making your audience "feel" something will help them remember your message. Video that tells a story touches the emotions like no other medium and Neil has been crafting the art of telling stories through film and video since he started in television in 1989.

Purpose

Mission

Mission

To inspire people with your message by unlocking the magic of storytelling. And to use the the wealth of experience I gained over 30 years of production work to create a safe space that encourages great performances and engaging videos, even with inexperienced and nervous performers.

My Expertise

I have directed programmes for the BBC, Sky, Channel 5, Discovery, Nickelodeon, CBeebies and Teachers TV. Starting my career as an assistant producer at the BBC in the late 1980s, I have been described as "a safe pair of hands who could think outside the box". Who else would get Lily Savage to interview William Shakespeare and then get him to sing one of his Sonnets as a ZZ Top number? That's right, me!

My Expertise

Guarantee

Guarantee

Together we will produce films and videos that are better than you hoped for and the whole process will be easier than you expected. I will be honest with you, sometimes even blunt. If I don't believe your script or video idea works I will tell you... I will also tell you what we can do to make it work.

I will deliver on time and at the agreed budget. Finally, working with me will be fun.

What you get from working with me

What I do is less important than what your customers will do after watching a film I have produced for your business, or what you do after having been trainied by me.

I inspire people to pick up their mobile phone!

Either to use it to shoot great videos that will benefit your business, or to ring more because people have seen your films and want to work with you.

So pick up your phoe and give me a call, and let's start on those videos you've been meaning to make for so long.
